Honestly, if you are going to put money and DIY it, go with The Bilstein's. Found out my thrice owned truck has NEVER had rear shock replacement, over 100K now with stock shocks and Let me tell you!!! I got a rear pair for a little over two hundy, and it's like a night and day difference. She drives like a truck now, I don't know how to better phrase it, before I changed them my rear bounced with a little hop on a corner, now? I gotta really put some "umfph" to make it budge.

i wrapped my 2010 yukon in this kit but i did the z23/26 pads before...seemed to lose a little bit of stopping power but i also went to way heavier wheels. worked good tho until my pin stuck and my back side pad got ground off. just ordered the z36 pads for all around so hoping to see a nice increase after i swap them out this week. gotta lube all of the pins as well

You did it wrong! The end piece of the throttle cable needs to fit in a Groove of the slide for the carburetor. There is a cutout slit where it fits and then the spring holds down circular plate to lock it in place. You just have it completely shoved all the way through? Shouldn't make a video showing people the wrong way to repair things.

I believe you messed up. Did you load the suspension to sitting height before tightening the upper control arm?

Saved me a lot of problems. found hose rotted, took small piece of windshield washer hose and fixed it, thanks again.

I have had both Bilstein and Rancho. Bilstein quality is definitely superior. However I find the ride a bit harsh. Just ordered Rancho 9000 for a 2006 F250 with 75,000 miles. The 3/4 Fords ride like an empty dump truck. Just looking to soften up the ride as much as possible. I have had Ranchos fail in under 30,000 miles . However mostly I have had them last very well. Maybe I will jump back in and report on the shocks on the F250.

Used this video as a reference while changing the water pump on my 2012 with 90k miles. It was making that sound we all know when the bearing goes bad. While getting parts, I picked up some Super Clean. It works amazing! Please re-up this video without the music sound track.

Drop in bed liners are not preaty for preaty trucks, and they don't have self cleaning system. lol. But they are life saver for those rough trucks caring concrete, rocks, planters, lawn mowers, dirt bikes etc

Are the Gabriel shocks a little longer?

How do you get the spring compression and the bolt that goes through the spring to thread ? Do you do that with the handle in or out on a table if you know what I’m saying?

If I'm doing brakes, I'm go over everything like lubing pins, changing the brake fluid and bleeding the system. If I'm just doing pads, I try to deglaze the rotors with a flap wheel on a grinder. I've even taken out grooves (shade tree turning) with the grinder, the trick for both is to spin the rotors while you hit it with the flap wheel. It's getting harder to find anyone to machine turn a rotor or drum these days with all the cheap overseas replacement parts.

Mine is a 2000 Flex that I've only done the Intake gaskets and timing chain on, and the chain was still fine at 230k miles. Ford made this motor to LAST. Not as good gas mileage as the 2.3/2.5 or power as the 4.0. But it really was a beast of an engine.
